EARL – Early Assessment Risk List, Version 3
The EARL-V3 (Early Assessment Risk List, Version 3) is a structured professional judgment tool designed to assess the risk of disruptive behaviour in children under 12.
Developed by the Child Development Institute in Toronto, Canada, this evidence-based assessment has been refined through over 20 years of research and practical application.

What the course involves
This interactive two-day course combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises. Participants will learn the history, purpose, and application of the EARL-V3, including detailed walkthroughs of each risk factor.
The training emphasises cultural and gender sensitivity, ensuring assessments are fair and inclusive. Participants will practice scoring a fictitious case, developing treatment plans, and understanding how to utilize EARL-V3 results for clinical decision-making.
